A Message from the Executive Director:
It is my privilege to welcome you to the Maitland Valley Family Health Team (MVFHT) website. The MVFHT utilizes a patient-centred approach in order to provide you with access to the highest possible quality of care. This is achieved through collaborative efforts by MVFHT Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals – and of course with you, the patient. Along with standard primary care services, the MVFHT provides Health Promotion/Disease Prevention and Chronic Disease Management Programs and assists patients with the development and implementation of self-management healthcare practices.
